With the widespread rollout of the National Broadband Network (NBN) comes many job opportunities in the telecommunications industry. Our Telecommunications and NBN training – Power awareness course is designed for those beginning their career in telecommunications or looking to add to the experience they already have. It gives students an industry accredited certificate with a focus on working safely near live electrical infrastructure as well as workplace specific first aid training.

Course Duration
Our Power Awareness Initial program runs over three consecutive days.
Our Power Awareness Refresher program runs over one day.
Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisites for Interlink’s Initial Power awareness course for the telecommunications industry. It is available through direct entry.
To complete a Refresher Power awareness course, all students will need to provide proof of completing all units within the last 12 months.
To successfully complete these courses participants will need intermediate literacy and numeracy skills.

Course Fees
Our standard Power Awareness Initial course costs $1000.00 (GST Free), although prices can vary depending on units required.
Our Power Awareness Refresher course costs $363.00 (inc GST).
Please note: Interlink Training is not VET FEE-HELP approved. Government training subsidies are not available for this course.
