Former Scenic Rim cattle farmers Sylvie and Lincoln Barnden purchased the business in November 2021 and haven’t looked back since. Lincoln has a mechanical background as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer and is also a qualified horticulturist and greenkeeper. Sylvie looks after the administration side of the business including bookkeeping and payroll.
Since buying the business, Sylvie and Lincoln have increased the staff of five with a shop manager and a small engine mechanic apprentice. They have also achieved Elite Dealer Status with Stihl and have tripled the size of the retail area, including establishing a brand-new workshop in an adjoining building.
Kenmore Mower and Power Equipment leads the industry in turnaround times on servicing/repairs and is proud of their high standard of customer service. All of this is underpinned by specialised staff with extensive experience in the outdoor power industry including Gold Stihl Academy trade qualified mechanics and sales staff.
