Earlier in the year while pruning trees near uninsulated high voltage (HV) conductors on private property, a vegetation management worker had an incident where a branch broke and fell uncontrolled onto the HV conductors.
The worker was in an EWP and was intending to snap the branch off but the branch snapped before the worker had an opportunity to snap it off.
This had the potential to cause injuries, but fortunately no one was hurt.
